THE CASE
Electric vehicles are central to reducing carbon emissions in the automotive sector, but getting there requires rethinking how parts are made.
AIRY's automated 3D printing technology for carbon and glass-fibre produces lightweight, low-emission EV components that compete with traditional manufacturing. The AMMEVP project combines AIRY's expertise with OPmobility's automotive manufacturing capabilities and DTU Construct's research expertise to develop advanced battery pack components for cars, trucks, and buses.
The project is advancing fibre-reinforced thermoplastics to TRL 7 through prototype development and testing across mechanical, thermal, and safety requirements, tackling real sustainability and manufacturability challenges head-on. It's an SME-led international collaboration that's close to market: exactly what Eurostars is designed for.

THE COLLABORATION
Working with AIRY, OPmobility, and DTU on this Eurostars application meant building a narrative that balanced technical ambition with commercial reality. We helped define the joint business case for AIRY and OPmobility, shaping a clear go-to-market strategy and long-term collaboration roadmap. Our role was to make sure the proposal told a strong, cohesive story, one that showed the bigger picture while keeping the focus on real, achievable next steps.
