About NewTechAqua
The vision of the EU aquaculture industry is to grow substantially in the next decade and to provide annually 4.5 million tons of sustainable food products. To this aim, NewTechAqua's main goal is to expand and diversify European aquaculture production of finfish, molluscs and microalgae by developing and validating technologically-advanced, resilient and sustainable applications.
Objectives:

Deliver solutions to improve fish and mollusc health and disease resistance

Improve and differentiate production by improving the efficiency of fish and microalgae farming

Promoting organic aquaculture

Closing the reproductive cycle of emerging fish species by developing innovative and eco-friendly fish and mollusc products.

Increasing consumer awareness and acceptance of European aquaculture products and methods.
Gate2Growth participation
G2G is the leader of WP7 Exploitation and market uptake. Furthermore, we work with project partners in assessing the impact indicators in WP6.
G2G main activities are:

Production of a detailed exploitation plan integrating business models and business plans for each key result.

Developing a replication and upscaling strategy for the key result business models.
